Sexy South African Anime Fans - Lumo from Durban

Welcome to the third in our series of "Sexy South African Anime Fans"! An excellent photographer friend of mine, talamia, gathered 6 of the hottest anime fans in South Africa and took photos of them posing in sexy (and sometimes revealing!) outfits and included subtle references to various anime genres.

Without further ado, here is the third girl!

1) What is your name and where are you from?
Lumo: originally from Gauteng, more specifically Benoni. In fact Charlise was my neighbor and bff. Jokes aside, I am seriously from Benoni. Now I made the great trek over the Boerewors curtain to Durban for the time being.

2) What is your favorite anime series and why?
Guardian of the Sacred Spirit as it is martial arts inspired and I am a huge Miyazaki fan as well as a martial artist. Also there is a female lead being a badass and I am a bit of a sucker for tough ladies. Full Metal Alchemist because I identify with the relationship the brothers have, as my sister and I are really close. Hajimino Ippo cos it’s an anime about a cute shy guy who is an amazing boxer, enough said.

3) If you could be any anime character who would you be and why?
Balsa from Guardian of the Sacred Spirit for the above reasons, if only I could do the things she can do with a spear my life would be complete.

4) What is your favorite band, movie and TV show?
Bands: the Cure.
Movie: Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
TV: Supernatural, Archer, Better Off Ted, Dexter.
The list of shows could go on but I am afraid I am going to look like I do nothing but watch TV.

5) What is your secret guilty pleasure?
Shiny objects. I am a magpie and a hoarder. Collecting all manner of detritus makes me happy.
