Top 15 Best Anime

From Sankaku Complex (NSFW):

Having decided the on the worst anime, the same mass of anime fans has applied the same nebulous and uncertain criteria to determine the best anime, or those they can remember to vote for at any rate – unsurprisingly, several anime manage to rank well on both lists.

The ranking:

1. CLANNAD
2. Puella Magi Madoka Magica
3. Tiger & Bunny
4. Ano Hi Mita Hana
5. Steins;Gate
6. Bakemonogatari
7. Code Geass
8. Angel Beats!
9. Gintama
10. Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni
11. K-ON!
12. Toradora!
13. Natsume’s Book of Friends
14. Neon Genesis Evangelion
15. Ranma 1/2

As ever, Clannad is life – though Tiger & Bunny probably heads the list of “anime most likely to have been completely forgotten about by next season.”

I know taste is subjective and everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but... Come on, no love for Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Gurren Lagann, Fullmetal Alchemist and so on? This list is like a kick in the Clannads...

Chimera, have you ever thought of compiling a list of the top ecchi anime?

No, but it might be a good idea for me to accept nominations and then create a poll for this. Any suggestions?

Yosuga no Sora is probably my favorite as it pushes the boundaries without going fully into hentai, and it has great animation and a cast of interesting characters. Other than that - Aki Sora, Kanokon, KissXSis, Seikon no Qwaser, Goldenboy, Ladies vs. Butlers, To Love-Ru and Ikkitousen all come to mind, though I haven't seen the last two yet.
